  • Consultant Vascular and Endovascular surgeon & Specialist in Diabetic foot care at Dr.Srikanth Vijayasimha’s Vascular Centre , Malleswaram, Bangalore.
  • Visiting Consultant in Vascular & Endovascular Surgery at Manipal Hospital (Yeshwantpur), Manipal Northside Hospital (Malleswaram) and St. Theresa’s Hospital, Rajajinagar, Bangalore.

  • Higher Specialist Training in Vascular and Endovascular Surgery at the Evangelical Hospital, Muelheim-an-der-Ruhr, Germany.
  • Post Doctoral Fellowship in Vascular and Endovascular Surgery, MAHE (Deemed University).

Academic Achievements

  • Authored chapter on Diabetic Foot care in “The Handbook of Vascular Surgery” published by the Vascular Society of India. 
  • Was one of the authors of the “Multispecialty Consensus Statement for Primary Care Management of Diabetic Foot Disease in India”.
  • Formerly Teacher for Post Graduate General Surgery Residents at St. Martha’s Hospital, a Missionary Hospital recognised by the National Board of Examinations, New Delhi for Post Graduate training in General Surgery.
  • External Examiner in Vascular Surgery for the Post Doctoral Fellowship Examination of the Manipal University.

Research Activities: 

  • Presented over 25 papers in National and International Conferences.
  • Published 7 papers on various vascular topics in Medical Journals 
  • Principal Investigator for a multi-center randomised trial of a special silver-based dressing for the treatment of venous ulcers of the lower limb (Aquacel Ag Dressings – Indian Registration Study)
  • Sub-Investigator for a Global multi-center randomized third party blinded phase II trial of a novel cardio-protective drug [Zoniporide]
  • Has undergone training in Good clinical practice in clinical research .(WHO – GCP Certification is required to conduct Clinical Trials).
